We are currently seeking a Lean Six Sigma Consultant & Trainer for 24 to 40 hours per week.

Lean Six Sigma Groep is a rapidly growing organization that values and encourages creativity and innovative ideas. We’ve been in existence for 10 years and have expanded into a training and consultancy firm with 20 employees, catering to various clients. We have proudly received the FD Gazelle award four times, ranking us among the fastest-growing companies in the Netherlands. Recently, in addition to our Lean Six Sigma Groep brand, we have introduced two other brands, Agile Werken and Lean Agile Groep, aiming to effectively combine Lean and Agile methodologies.

The Lean Agile Groep team consists of 20 colleagues, including consultants and office staff based in Den Haag. Our primary focus is embedding continuous improvement in organizations and making it work effectively. You possess the ability to swiftly grasp processes, identify improvement opportunities, and effectively apply and disseminate Lean Six Sigma methodologies through coaching, workshops, and training. In addition to your expertise in Lean Six Sigma tools, you exhibit strong social and communication skills, enabling you to engage both management and frontline employees.

  • As a consultant/trainer at Lean Six Sigma Groep, your role involves diverse and impactful responsibilities, including training, coaching, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • As a trainer/coach, you collaborate with colleagues to train Green Belts and Black Belts and guide them in their projects. Moreover, you collaborate with leading profit and non-profit organizations to apply Lean Six Sigma.
  • You analyze business processes closely with our clients and initiate actions to drive improvements. Your focus is on facilitating the implementation of improvements, creating adaptable solutions that enable companies to respond swiftly to changing customer needs and market conditions.

Your tasks as a Lean Six Sigma Consultant:

  • Implementing Lean methodologies at our clients, enhancing their knowledge, and introducing new concepts such as implementing Obeya spaces and conducting Quick Scans.
  • Delivering Lean Six Sigma training sessions at various locations.
  • Swiftly comprehending processes to identify improvement opportunities and effectively applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies through coaching, workshops, and training sessions.
  • You’ll be empowered and provided space to turn your ideas about Lean and Agile into reality, making your role diverse and dynamic.

Your qualifications:

  • You strive for continuous improvement and aim to bring out the best in yourself, aligning with the client’s goals.
  • Your strong communication skills and empathetic nature enable you to understand and serve the client effectively.
  • You possess practical experience with Lean Six Sigma and its implementation. In addition to your Lean Six Sigma tool knowledge, you exhibit strong social and communication skills, enabling you to convince both management and employees on the shop floor.
  • Commercially adept to find new clients and projects, contributing to our organization’s further growth.

Our requirements:

  • HBO/WO-level education and Green or Black Belt certification.
  • At least 2 years of practical experience with Lean Six Sigma.
  • Prior consultancy experience is a significant advantage. Demonstrated enthusiasm and success with Lean improvement projects.
  • Experience with Lean training and coaching. Entrepreneurial, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Affinity with Agile is advantageous, allowing you to advise on the alignment and proper positioning of Lean and Agile.
  • If you’re not already a Scrum Master or Product Owner, we offer training opportunities in this domain. Flexibility in working with various clients at different locations; this adds excitement to the role but also requires flexibility.

During monthly office days, you will collaborate closely with the entire team on the organization’s strategy. You will work closely with consultants. We also embrace Agile practices, meaning we frequently have daily or weekly stand-ups and collaborate on achieving objectives.
