Beste lezer,

Fleur has been working in banking since 2001, where she worked in strategic advisory (M&A) and principal finance (equity investments), as well as in Syndicated Lending and Trade & Commodity Finance. From 2007 onwards, she holds managerial responsibilities across EMEA and CIS, and since 2017 Fleur is in a Global leadership position. In this capacity, she became acquainted with Lean Six Sigma and had a Sponsor role in her first lean trajectory.

Marieke started within banking in 2005, where she hold various positions in Corporate Banking and Trade & Commodity Finance (TCF) in the field of account management, credit & portfolio management and business line risk manager (TCF EMEA region). Driven by her inner motivation for learning, cooperation and continuous improvements she became Lean implementation manager within TCF. And after strategic changes within ABN AMRO she is responsible for streamlining processes for winding down the portfolio.

To create a learning culture and to ensure successful implementation of improvement ideas, Fleur and Marieke took the initiative to start training team members to get Green and Black belt experiences. Leading by example, Marieke and Fleur became black belt in 2020 and developed the philosophy that at least 10-15% of the team members should be an accredited Green Belt or Black Belt to ensure continuous improvement and client satisfaction. Their view is that Lean Six Sigma is a great methodology that creates a solid basis for digitisation and innovation. It also supports the eco-system thinking and building.
