Implementation

What is implementation?
Implementation is the introduction of an improvement in an organization. The goal is that the innovation or change becomes part of the daily activities and that the people within the organization will start thinking and acting in accordance with the intentions of the change.

Commonly used methodologies in implementations

In an implementation, we often work with the Lean, Agile, and Six Sigma methodologies, which strive for a continuous improvement organization. A start is made on determining the added value for the customer and then the processes and how they create customer value are looked at in the so-called value stream. By doing this, it becomes clear where the waste is and an improved flow process can be created.

These wastes become clear through the collection of data and together with the employees from the process, the process improves step by step. Employees in the organization will see where improvements can be made and start working on their own improvements.

In this way, an organization is created in which process-wide thinking and everything is focused on doing what the customer demands in a smart, effective and efficient way. The introduction of Lean Six Sigma means that processes, process management and employees are looked at in this way, thus creating a continuous culture of improvement that leads to results.

Where do you want to be in 5 years?

Companies face a whole range of challenges: staff reductions, tight budgets, stagnating stock prices, and of course the ever-increasing competition. But what exactly is the strength of your organization and what do you want to excel in? Where do you want to be in 5 years? To determine what you need to improve, we start by setting the vision and objectives for the coming period. Customer demand is central here.

Measure with process management or do processes that customers ask for

After developing a vision and objectives, a measurement is made of the current processes. This is carried out with the help of a Lean assessment: mapping processes, activities and effectiveness. We then convert this into a KPI dashboard so that we can continue to measure how things are going and what needs to be improved with Lean Six Sigma.

Executing improvement projects

The KPI dashboard makes clear what can be improved. These improvements are achieved through the launch of improvement initiatives. This can take various forms including a Green Belt project, Kaizen session or Valuestreammapping. Step by step improvements are made in the desired places.

Training people to improve

In order to implement improvements, people are needed who know how to do this. You have these people in the organization yourself, and we can train them to do this. With our Lean Agile Six Sigma training, people get the tools, techniques and coaching in the workplace to help them do this. In the initial phase, most of the facilitation will be done by us. Gradually the intention is that the employees in the organization will pick this up independently.

Support with implementation

Our consultants help you to make improvements within the company, without disrupting the daily progress of the work. In short, we help you to become a Lean Agile Six Sigma organization.
