At Lean Six Sigma Groep, we help organizations effectively apply Lean Six Sigma and achieve sustainable process improvements. Our Lean Six Sigma training programs are specifically designed to equip individuals with the tools and techniques they need to deliver real results within their organizations. We follow our credo: Show, Do Together, and Do Independently.
In the Do Together phase, which is the focus of this training, we guide you step by step in applying Lean Six Sigma. During the training, we work through three funnels, which help you move from problem to cause and from cause to solution. These three steps are supported by the proven DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), enabling you to systematically implement improvements that have a direct impact.
Our Lean Six Sigma training offers more than just theory: you will learn how to apply the DMAIC approach to implement process improvements and create positive change within your organization. Ready to put Lean Six Sigma into practice? Read on to discover how you can make a real impact in your work and organization using the three funnels and DMAIC methodology.
Who is the Green Belt
training for?
The Green Belt training is designed to teach you how to take on improvement projects. It’s tailored for (future) project leaders of improvement initiatives, managers, and consultants who want to work with Lean Agile and Six Sigma. Essentially, it’s for anyone looking to work on processes within organizations.
After completing the Green Belt training, you’ll be fully equipped to execute improvement projects independently. As a Green Belt, you’ll work on improvement initiatives in a project-based manner, including process enhancements and change processes within the organization. As a Green Belt, you are expected to aim for tangible and demonstrable improvements in your initiatives.

Problem:
In the Problem Phase, we begin by identifying the bottlenecks within your organization. This is the first step in the DMAIC methodology (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Together, we delve into the customer’s needs to clearly define the problem. We set a clear objective and develop a Lean plan to outline the direction for improvement.
After completing this initial step, we move to the second funnel. In the Measure Phase of DMAIC, we map out the current process in detail. This step is crucial because before moving to the Analyze Phase, we need a precise understanding of how the process currently functions. By thoroughly measuring the process, we lay a solid foundation for the subsequent steps in the improvement trajectory.
Causes
After mapping out the current process, we delve deeper into the root causes of the bottlenecks. In the Analyze Phase of the DMAIC methodology, we examine what is truly driving the issues. This involves brainstorming together and exploring various potential causes.
We use Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to gain a visual understanding of the processes and the bottlenecks that occur, combining these insights with the collected data. By identifying and prioritizing the key causes, we establish the foundation for targeted actions in the subsequent phases of the process.
Solutions Phase
In the final funnel, we focus on the Improve and Control Phases of the DMAIC methodology. This is where we develop concrete countermeasures and create a detailed implementation plan. Together, we ensure that the identified solutions are effectively executed and aligned with the organization’s objectives.
As we progress through this phase, we emphasize securing the solutions and sustaining the results. This step is crucial for achieving lasting improvements. The ultimate goal is to establish a continuous flow of process management and improvement, enabling your organization to consistently improve and adapt to changing circumstances.
