In this comprehensive learning program, you will cultivate the expertise to oversee Lean deployment, take the helm in leading and coaching improvement projects, and coach executives and managers on continuous improvement strategies. Moreover, you will gain the essential knowledge and hands-on experience to become a proficient authority in the realm of Lean Six Sigma.
In broad terms, the most complete programme is structured as follows:
Introduction and Define: 2 days
Measure and Analyse: 2 days
Improve and Control: 3 days
Policy Deployment: 2 days (block 1 of the Green Belt to Black Belt programme)
Masterclass Policy Deployment: This advanced module focuses on programme management and Lean Six Sigma Policy Deployment. Central questions include: “How do we roll out process improvement across organisations, and what does that involve?” Techniques covered include:
The following learning materials are required for the Lean Black Belt programme.

– USB stick with exercises
– Workbook for your certification project
– Practice exam
– Coaching sessions
The Black Belt programme includes four coaching sessions. During these sessions, a Lean Black Belt supports you individually in the approach to your Lean Six Sigma project. Together, you will review your progress and your workbook, and you will receive guidance whenever you encounter obstacles.
Lean Six Sigma Groep is accredited by LCS, IASSC, and CEDEO, and is registered with CRKBO. This ensures that the training meets international standards and requirements, and guarantees the quality of our programmes.
Upon completion of the training, you will receive an LCS Lean Six Sigma Groep certificate of participation. In addition, it is possible to become fully certified in practice as a Lean Black Belt. The following requirements apply:
– Certificate of participation: Awarded after completing the full training. A maximum of one training day may be missed.
– Theory exam: This exam consists of both multiple-choice and open questions.
– Two practical assignments: As the project leader of an improvement team, you complete Lean Six Sigma practical assignments within an organisation. These assignments demonstrate your ability to analyse a process and implement improvements with measurable results. The assignments are assessed by a Black Belt from Lean Six Sigma Groep. Upon successful completion, you will receive the full LCS Lean Six Sigma Groep Black Belt Certificate.
