What will you learn in the Product Owner Self-Study Plus
During this program, you will develop a complete understanding of the Product Owner’s role and how to successfully apply Scrum in practice. The self-study provides the theoretical foundation, while the training day allows you to actively experience how to fulfill the role of Product Owner and apply Scrum effectively.
You will dive into topics such as:
The foundations of Agile and Scrum – understanding how the framework is structured, the different roles, and how events and artifacts work together to enable transparency and continuous improvement.
The role of the Product Owner – ensuring that stakeholders receive maximum value through close collaboration with the entire Scrum Team.
Scrum events such as Sprint Planning and Sprint Reviews – with specific focus on your responsibilities as a Product Owner.
Collaboration with the Scrum Master and Developers – improving teamwork, responding faster to change, and delivering greater value to customers.
Preparation for the Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) exam by Scrum.org – equipping you with the knowledge and skills to approach this internationally recognized exam with confidence.
By the end of the program, you will have both the knowledge and practical skills to take on the Product Owner role effectively and professionally.
Curriculum
This training consists largely of self-study, which you can complete at your own pace and whenever it suits you. In addition to the self-study, there is one practice day.

Self-study
The self-study workload is approximately one day. You decide when and how to complete it through our eLearning platform.
Practice Day (9:15 – 16:30)
The practice day is an intensive, interactive session where you actively work on cases, simulations, and group assignments.
Certification & Recognition
After completing the training, you will receive a certificate of participation. In addition, you will be fully prepared for the PSM I exam by Scrum.org, which enables you to become an internationally recognized certified Scrum Master.
The training fully prepares you for the official PSM I exam. This exam is optional and can be requested separately via Scrum.org.
